If your flash drive is lower than 64GB, then not for Dashcam/Sentry Mode — Tesla requires 64GB minimum. For music playback, 16GB works fine. If with 64GB and above, it meets Tesla's minimum for Dashcam/Sentry Mode. Just make sure to plug it into the front USB port (usually inside the glovebox or at the front of the center console). The rear USB ports are charging-only and cannot read the drive.
